Junta AR
Privacy Policy and Support
This page explains how the Junta AR mobile app handles account data, immigration case tracking data, analytics, notifications, support, and account deletion.
Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account or sign in, we may process your email address, authentication provider identifier, display name provided by your sign-in provider, app language, and profile information that you choose to save, such as first name, last name, and date of birth.
Case tracking information
To track a Migraciones process, the app stores the case number (expediente), date of birth used for validation, current status, current and next steps, history entries, check frequency, notification preferences, widget preference, and related timestamps.
Device and notification information
If notifications are enabled, the app stores Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens so it can send status updates. The Android and iOS widgets may store the selected tracking status locally on your device so the widget can display it on the home screen.
Analytics and advertising measurement
The app uses Firebase Analytics and the Meta SDK to record product events such as sign-in method, profile saved, tracking added, widget enabled, and screen views. These events are used to improve the app and measure advertising performance. Event data is designed not to include your expediente number or date of birth.
How We Use Information
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To validate and refresh Migraciones status information.
- To show your saved trackings in the app and widgets.
- To send optional push notifications about status updates.
- To diagnose app errors, improve features, and measure app usage.
- To process account and data deletion requests.
Third-Party Services
Junta AR relies on service providers that process data according to their own policies and terms:
- Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, and Analytics.
- Google Sign-In and Apple Sign in with Apple, when selected.
- Meta SDK, for app event and advertising measurement.
- Direccion Nacional de Migraciones public consultation systems, used only to query the case status for the expediente and date of birth you provide.
Government Source and Non-Affiliation
Junta AR is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency. The app helps users organize and repeat their own public-status inquiries.
The official source for Argentine residence procedure status information is the public Direccion Nacional de Migraciones consultation page: https://www.migraciones.gob.ar/accesos/precarias.php.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to operate the app, process status checks through the services above, comply with legal obligations, protect rights and security, or complete account deletion requests.
Retention
Account and tracking data is kept while your account is active or until you delete the account or remove a tracking. Analytics providers may retain aggregated or event-level data according to their own retention settings and policies.
Data Deletion
You can request account deletion from inside the app:
- Open Junta AR.
- Go to Profile.
- Select Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion request in the app.
After confirmation, the app clears profile fields, signs you out, and queues the account for server-side deletion. The worker removes the Firebase Auth user, profile document, tracked cases, tracking history, and push tokens. Local widget data can also be removed by deleting the widget, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app.
Security
We use Firebase security controls, authenticated access, and server-side admin credentials for scheduled checks and deletion processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards for the size and purpose of the app.
Children
Junta AR is not directed to children. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate permission, use the deletion flow described above.
International Processing
Data may be processed in countries where Firebase, Google, Apple, Meta, and related infrastructure providers operate.
Support
If you need help with Junta AR, have a question about your account, or need help deleting your data, contact support by email: [email protected].
Please include the email address used for your Junta AR account and a short description of the issue. Do not include passwords, government account passwords, payment details, or unrelated identity documents.
Support requests are reviewed in English, Spanish, Portuguese, or Russian. We aim to respond within two business days.
You can request account deletion from the Profile screen in the app. If you cannot access the app, email support from the address associated with your account and ask for account deletion.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date shows the current version.
