FinPilot Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the FinPilot mobile app with bundle identifier com.finpilot.app. By using FinPilot, you agree to these terms.
The FinPilot Privacy Policy is available at privacy-policy.html.
Service
FinPilot helps users track personal finances, budgets, receipts, and voice-entered transactions. The app can run in guest mode with local storage. Optional account sync, analytics, push notifications, attribution, AI parsing, and purchases may be enabled in production builds.
Financial Disclaimer
FinPilot is a budgeting and record-keeping tool. It does not provide financial, tax, legal, investment, or accounting advice. You are responsible for reviewing entries, budgets, AI drafts, and reports before relying on them.
AI Capture
Receipt and voice capture can create draft transactions from images, recognized text, or voice transcripts. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect. FinPilot shows AI-created entries for review before saving them as transactions.
Free Limit and Subscription
FinPilot may include a free limit of four AI receipt or voice captures per week. Free AI receipt uploads may also be limited by file size, and free voice recordings may be limited by duration. A paid FinPilot Pro subscription may unlock unlimited AI capture. The monthly subscription price is USD 4.99 and the yearly subscription price is USD 29.99, subject to the price shown by the App Store, Google Play, or the purchase screen.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the store account settings before the renewal date. Billing, renewal, refunds, and cancellation are handled by the applicable app store and payment provider.
Accounts and Local Data
You can use FinPilot without creating an account. Local data remains on the device unless you delete the app or enable account sync. If account sync is enabled, you are responsible for keeping account credentials secure.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use FinPilot to violate laws or third-party rights.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the service.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to process.
Availability and Changes
FinPilot may change over time. Features may be added, removed, paused, or limited. We may update these terms when the app, subscriptions, providers, or legal requirements change.
Limitation of Liability
FinPilot is provided as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by inaccurate entries, interrupted service, or user decisions made from app data.
