Agreement, account and availability
By creating or using a SKIORA account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. A Firebase-backed account is required and may be created with email and password or through Google or Apple. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for activity performed through your account.
Mountain safety
Weather, snowpack, visibility, lift operations and closures can change without warning. Follow official signs, closures, patrol instructions, avalanche guidance and local law. Do not enter closed terrain. Carry appropriate equipment and use qualified local guidance where conditions or terrain require it.
Map display and friend-location concepts are not rescue or emergency-location services. Contact the relevant local emergency service or resort patrol in an emergency.
Maps, prices and resort information
Map geometry and third-party facts can be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Operational information, ski-pass prices, menus, transfer offers and booking availability must be confirmed with the named provider before travel or purchase. External providers set their own prices, cancellation policies and terms.
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not mean that SKIORA controls or endorses those services.
Ride estimates and classification
Distance, speed, elevation, piste, lift and freeride classification are estimates affected by GPS accuracy, map coverage, terrain, buildings, weather and device limits. They are not certified measurements and must not be used as proof of skill, location, speed or safety.
Responsible use
- Do not interact with the app while moving when doing so would be unsafe.
- Do not use the service to track another person without their knowledge and valid consent.
- Do not interfere with the app, its services or source providers, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Do not misuse reporting, blocking, review or account systems.
Accounts, private groups, content and purchases
Your profile, trip, ride summaries, statistics, bounded display routes and private groups can be linked to your signed-in account. Raw GPS samples are not uploaded automatically. If you explicitly export GPX, you choose the recipient in the operating-system share sheet and that recipient handles the user-shared file under its own terms. Location sharing with a private group is off until you give separate consent, and live groups must not be used to track anyone without their knowledge and valid consent.
Version 1.0 may display already-published first-party place reviews but does not accept new review submissions. SKIORA Plus is not offered for sale, and every currently available app feature is free. Store products may be configured for future testing, but the app does not present a purchase.
If subscriptions launch later, the app and store will show the included features, price, renewal period, trial terms, cancellation and restoration controls before purchase. Store terms and the price confirmed by Apple or Google will govern any future in-app purchase. Deleting your SKIORA account does not cancel a store subscription; you must manage or cancel it separately through Apple or Google.
Community review policy
Public review submission is disabled in version 1.0. SKIORA may moderate, hide, restore or restrict already-published content or accounts to enforce these terms and applicable law. If submission is enabled in a later reviewed release, you must accept the then-current policy before your first submission. Reviews will be submitted as pending and will not become public until a human operator approves them.
Published content must not contain hate, harassment, threats or targeted abuse; personal or confidential information, impersonation, or material posted without permission; spam, advertising, manipulation, fraud or irrelevant material; or unlawful, infringing, sexually explicit, dangerous or deliberately false content. Reviews must describe a genuine, relevant experience and must not create a misleading safety, price, availability or operating claim.
Report sends a separate private moderation signal. Hide review removes one review from your account view, while Block rider filters that rider's reviews from your account view. Hiding or blocking does not automatically report anyone, and reporting does not automatically hide or block them. Account-synced hide and block controls can be reversed. Intellectual property and open data
SKIORA branding, software and original content are protected by applicable law. OpenStreetMap data remains available under its own Open Database Licence and is attributed in the app. Other third-party names, maps and services belong to their respective owners.
Service availability and liability
The service is provided on an as-available basis. Network access, GPS, device services, resort sources and third-party systems may fail. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Watson Studio is not responsible for decisions made in reliance on estimated, delayed or unavailable information. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
